RAISED GARDENS, NEW YORK CITY
These raised gardens in New York City were made with our hemlock beams.
PLEASE NOTE: Eastern Hemlock has become difficult to source due to limited log availability and the Woolly Adelgid insect infestation impacting Pennsylvania’s forestry and logging industries. As a result, PA Sawmill has had to withdraw our offering of this species. Eastern White Pine or Douglas Fir may be suggested as possible substitutions.
To learn more about the Woolly Adelgid, feel free to click here for a link to Penn State University’s white paper on this invasive insect species.
Despite the loss of this product, we continue to display this image to illustrate our standards for structural integrity, dimensional control, and surface quality. For up-to-date species offerings, please contact our Sales department.
